With the season-opening Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar just days away the Yamaha Factory Racing man is the first participant in a new motogp.com series, which throws the spotlight on a different MotoGP™ rider in the lead-up to every Grand Prix.
The 2012 MotoGP™ is upon us and motogp.com is kicking off the new campaign with a new series, in which premier class riders are given the full interview treatment! First up is Yamaha Factory Racing's Ben Spies.
The American reviewed his 2011 as a season with too many ups and downs, and has targeted a higher level of consistency for 2012. Previewing the forthcoming 18-round Championship, Spies discusses a range of subject which includes the new 1000cc machines – to which Spies has adapted very well – as well as the introduction of the CRTs, which the Yamaha man is very much in favour of.
